Cute casual platformer. I really enjoyed it on Easy to avoid some annoying timing elements, and leave it to basic platforming. Each level is quite short, so it is easy to play just a few levels, and if you die, you don't get set back too far. I found it quite easy on easy, and a bit frustrating on normal. I made it until the final 5 levels when the level was a bit longer and at too much risk of being shot. I'd play more games like this. My only complaint is the framerate is quite low, and hurt my eyes a little at first, but was fine. It played & ran fine on my Win10 Alienware GTX 1080 played with an Xbox360 gamepad on a TV.. Decent platformer with pixel graphics.+ Visuals.+ Interesting idea with interesting game mechanics in general.- The design of some levels is garbage.- Lasers and anything that shoots something has no patterns, it's completely random.- For a platformer with traps everywhere, the camera is garbage, often you will not see where you are falling and there is a pit there, enemy or other♥♥♥♥♥♥ The awful design of the levels and the garbage camera become apparent after level 43 where you die from bullets that are being shot off-screen and you have NO WAY of seeing them coming.- The above facts will get you frustrated at times.- The game runs at 30 fps which is giving my eyes cancer. 30 fps in 2018 LOLSeriously, if people want to make platformers, shooters of any kind that resemble old-school games they need to go back and actually play the old games to see how it's properly done. Almost 40 years later and the old NES games are still THE BEST games there are of the genre such as platforming, side-scroll shooters etc. And these 40 years-old games run at 60 fps.Why do I recommend it? There is no neutral score. And the game isn't that bad to give it negative.After wondering about the above I decided to take a look at who developed the game. The studio, or more like "studio" because it consists of one man, has "developed" 4 games. Developed is in quotations because the games are just simple asset flips for mobile. I don't care for the first-person and third-person asset flips that flood the Steam market, there will never be end to them. But to see this happen to games of this genre is disgusting. Not only that but the logo the "studio" uses is clearly Pac-Man. I will still keep my recommendation as yes because even as asset flip with game design that needs fixing, it's still playable and a little bit above avarage for the quality asset flips usually have.. The concept of the game is a mash up: you play as an evil jelly who zombifies humans by possessing them. It is funny in a dark and discrete, the authors do not try to shove jokes down your throat which is great.The game consists of 54 puzzles (although the first 5-ish act more as a tutorial). In each puzzle you must reach a pipe, possessing some humans on the way. Each "type" of human gives you a special ability (e.g. higher jump, push boxes, double jump). These are mostly dexterity puzzles, some require trial-and-error, basically none requires thinking. The music is very repetitive and I didn't find how to turn it off, so that was annoying. I though that there was a lack of variety in the types of humans and I'd have enjoyed more challenging puzzles (strategy-wise). The control felt weird when possessing a specific unit (soldier) because that's the only situation in which you'll need the mouse. The whole game is also rather short.In spite of the shortcomings, the playing experience is good. The game did not present anything overly frustrating and delivers more or less what you expect after watching the trailer.Achievements are right on spot and Linux port is flawless (thanks for supporting the penguin!).. This game is pretty great for the price. It has a fairly fun and unique premise. Youre a jelly monster and you must infect/ possess people as wel as utilize platforms to get from point A to B If you like platformers, you will probably enjoy this game. The price is fair the visuals, well theyre alright, certainly easy on the eyes ^_^. The art is as cute as I hoped, but otherwise this game is pretty disappointing:The writing is rough; I don't mean to diss anyone who speaks more than one language, but get a proofreader, at least.The gameplay is sluggish.The "puzzles" aren't hard; they mostly just rely on insta-kill weapons coming from offscreen to screw up your progress.. The only 2D platformer game I'll play except Mario.. Never ever been a fan of oldschool, 2D, platformers, BUT! got this pice of game, i just had to try it AND! i cant seem to stop, its fun, its frustrating, its a pain in the a... but after enough of fails and curses, it actualy moves on.The only problem is that if you die, you have to start way back at the starting point, and once again lure the same traps/puzzles again. The timing on different traps are not synchronized, so you really have to be on an alert, not just count 1-2-3-jump.So if you like 2D puzzles - Get a great braintwister here!!. Decent platformer. You are taking hold of different characters with unique abilities to complete the mostly short levels. Good idea well executed.
